Can I swap coaches?
You are more than welcome to swap out coaches until you find someone you're comfortable working with. If you decide to switch, you'll be asked to complete a brief survey about your experience, but you're not obligated to answer. Our platform is designed to provide you with the freedom to choose a coach that suits your needs and preferences. Working with a coach is a personal experience, and it's important to feel connected with the person you're working with. Everyone has a different style and approach, and finding the right fit is key to your success.
How do virtual sessions work?
Virtual sessions will be conducted through the VOCÊ app. Simply sign in 5 minutes before your scheduled start time to get set up and be ready to go.
Who are the coaches?
Our coaches are carefully selected and accredited professionals, personally chosen by our founder Amanda DaCunha. They share our passion for instilling sustainable habits in our clients, ensuring long-term results and success in their fitness journey.
What is the minimum commitment?
You are required to commit for a minimum of one month, or for the duration agreed upon with your coach.
What is the difference between base and one on one coaching?
The main difference between the base programs and the one-on-one option is that with the one-on-one option, you'll have live virtual sessions with your coach, providing personalized guidance and support throughout your fitness journey. In the base program, you'll meet with the coach at the start of your program to go over it, and then have weekly chat check-ins through the VOCÊ app.
How often is my plan updated?
The program will be customized and updated based on your specific goals. On average, the program length ranges between 4 to 12 weeks for general fitness goals, as for yoga and nutrition, it typically spans 4 to 8 weeks. This ensures that your program remains aligned with your evolving needs and objectives throughout your fitness journey.
How do check ins work?
Check-ins involve your coach messaging you via the VOCÊ app at the end of each week to inquire about your workout progress, completion of any assigned homework, and address any questions or updates needed for the following week. It's a convenient way to stay connected and ensure your program remains tailored to your needs and progress.
Are the programs suitable for beginners?
The program will be fully customized to meet the individual needs of each participant, ensuring it's tailored to their specific goals, abilities, and preferences. It's designed to be beginner-friendly, providing a supportive and effective starting point for those new to fitness or looking to restart their journey.
What will I need to workout from home?
For at-home sessions, you will only need a yoga mat to get started. As you progress, your coach may recommend purchasing a few weights and any other necessary equipment to ensure you continue to see results and maximize your workouts.
Can I workout from a gym?
Clients have the flexibility to work out from a gym facility during their virtual sessions. Best practices include using wireless headphones to ensure clear communication with your coach, allowing you to hear their instructions and guidance effectively, while also enabling them to provide real-time feedback and support.
Can I spread out my virtual sessions throughout the month?
You cannot spread out your sessions over multiple weeks. For Tier I, you'll meet with your coach once per week, and for Tier II twice per week. These sessions will be scheduled at the beginning of the month. Sessions cannot be postponed or pushed from one week to the next, ensuring consistency and progress in your training program.
Is the nutrition program personalized?
The nutrition portion of our app will give you a sample program of what your meals could look like to achieve your goals. Some of our programs include a fully personalized meal plan based on your nutritional preferences. If the program you choose does not have a personalized meal plan you can purchase one for an additional fee. We also offer nutrition only programs where you will meet with your selected nutritionist once a week for 30 minute sessions.
